Secure location near to Durham council rather than the property, supermarket and the Cathedral, everything fantastic. Room by the extras at the apartment. Nice welcome from host. Location near to shops and restaurants.

We stayed for 2 night and loved our stay. The setting was lovely and stunning. Plus supermarkets and shops next door was so handy.

In total, it was a really really nice weekend. It was in a stunning place. In fact, the property was very close to good restaurants. I had apartment by the extras at the flat.

The location it offers is excellent right by the Riverside Retreat, the river and good restaurants. No complaints whatsoever, didn't want to say goodbye.

I stayed for 3 nights and it was SPECIAL, located in a safe area right by the river as well as good restaurants.

Thank you for very nice stay, having setting near to shops and restaurants. The location is just marvellous and peaceful, 10 minutes walk from The Way. Plus, it is right by the river, Durham town centre and cathedral and Durham.

The place by the riverside was beautiful and had amenities like an iron, coffee/tea facilities, and a television.

We had a wonderful time at Riverside Retreat! James, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even providing new bedding for our newborn. the apartment had everything we could possibly need and more, and the location was both quiet and central. the welcome pack, complete with prosecco and strawberries, was a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with beautiful views of the river. Cons: Nothing! 😊.
